MCBDD honored at commissioners’ meeting

Commissioners held their weekly meeting at the Meshel MASCO Workshop of the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Mahoning County Commissioners took time Thursday morning to recognize those who help the developmentally disabled in the Mahoning Valley lead better lives.

Commissioners held their weekly meeting at the Meshel MASCO Workshop of the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

They also presented a plaque to Superintendent Bill Whitacre and several board members to thank them for their efforts in helping people with disabilities.

Directors said the MCBDD provides classroom teaching, transportation and employment services for hundreds of children and adults with disabilities in Mahoning County.
