Victim ID’d in fatal Warren collision

The pickup was hauling wood pallets, which spilled across the roadway

An accident shut down East Market Street in Warren, Ohio.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A driver of a pickup truck was killed following a crash Thursday on E. Market Street and Kenmore Avenue.

Friday, Warren Police identified the man killed in the crash as Gregory Thomas, 53. A passenger in the pickup was not hurt.

Police said that Thomas went through a stop sign at Kenmore Avenue and hit a van that was traveling on E. Market Street. The truck was then pushed into a utility pole.

The pickup was hauling wood pallets, which spilled across the roadway.

Warren police are investigating the accident.
