Polls come to nursing home in Warren

Polls were set up at the facility

Voting polls were brought to Signature Healthcare in Warren, Ohio.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Signature Healthcare in Warren teamed up with the Trumbull County Board of Elections to bring the polls to residents.

Forty residents of the care facility on North Road were able to cast their ballot for the March 15 primary.

Quality of Life Director Maureen McCarty said it takes a lot of planning and work to bring the polls to residents, but is confident all her clients appreciate it.

“The Board of Elections has a special task force that works with us to help us make this happen, and it could take up to six months to prepare for it, but we are turning our facility today into voting polls,” McCarty said.

Signature Healthcare offers rehabilitative and long and short-term care.
