New Castle man faces sexual assault charges

NEW CASTLE, Penn. (WKBN) – A young man faces serious charges in connection with the sexual assault of two girls last year.

New Castle police said they believe 18-year-old Gary Brewton assaulted the victims at knife-point near Logan Street.

The assault happened around midnight on December 17 last year.

Investigators said they used DNA, video, search warrants and other evidence to make the arrest.

Brewton faces 10 charges, including four counts of rape.
