‘Orange Out Ohio’ kicks of MS awareness month

March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month

Monday, March 7 is Orange Out day for multiple sclerosis.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month in Ohio and to kick off the event the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is asking people to show their support by wearing orange.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is asking people to wear orange on Monday, March 7. The goal is to ‘Orange Out Ohio’ to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis, a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that causes unpredictable symptoms, ranging from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis.

Everyone is encouraged to take pictures wearing their orange apparel and to post those pictures on social media, using the #OrangeOutOhio hashtag.
