U.S. Route 30 to close to traffic in Columbiana Co.

Work is expected to be completed by Friday, March 18

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. Route 30 will be closed to traffic next week in Columbiana County for maintenance work.

Ohio Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be upgrading culverts and performing vegetation management work between state Route 9 at Hanoverton and state Route 172, just west of Lisbon.

Starting Monday, March 14, U.S. 30 will be detoured for five days from the intersection of state Route 9 and U.S. 30, north on state Route 9 to state Route 172 east back to U.S. 30 and reverse.

Work is expected to be completed by Friday, March 18.
