Allegiant to offer new service from Akron/Canton airport in May

The new route is one of 22 being added by the end of summer, from Akron/Canton and other airports around the country

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Allegiant Air will be adding flights from Akron/Canton to Orlando this summer, according to a press release sent Tuesday.

The release stated that Allegiant would have nonstop service from Akron/Canton Airport to Orlando Sanford International Airport in Orlando starting May 19.

The new route is one of 22 being added by the end of summer. The first 22 travelers to book their flights on each of the new routes will receive a refund for their round-trip airfare, with some restrictions.

Nonstop Service to McCarran International Airport (LAS) from:
Sonoma, California – begins May 19, 2016
Albuquerque, New Mexico – begins June 2, 2016

Nonstop Service to Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) from:
Akron / Canton, Ohio – begins May 19, 2016
Wichita, Kansas – begins May 25, 2016 and ends Aug. 13, 2016
El Paso, Texas – begins May 27, 2016 and ends Aug. 15, 2016
Evansville, Indiana – begins June 2, 2016
Nonstop Service to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) from:

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – begins May 26, 2016 and ends Aug. 14, 2016
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – begins May 26, 2016 and ends Aug. 14, 2016
Knoxville, Tennessee – begins May 27, 2016 and ends Aug. 15, 2016
Memphis, Tennessee – begins May 27, 2016 and ends Aug. 15, 2016
Nonstop Service to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) from:

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – begins May 19, 2016 and ends Sept. 18, 2016
Toledo, Ohio – begins June 3, 2016 and ends Sept. 26, 2016
