Fire injures woman, kills dog in Franklin Twp., Pa.

The fire broke out in a car at 110 South Hazen Ave. in Franklin around 1:30 a.m.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) – A car fire broke out early Tuesday morning in Beaver County, injuring a woman and killing a dog, according to witnesses.

The fire broke out in a car at 110 South Hazen Ave. in Franklin around 1:30 a.m.

The Franklin Fire Department had the scene under control quickly, and an off-duty officer pulled a 19-year-old out of the fire.

Bystanders said that a female suffered burns to the head and face and that a dog died in the fire.
