IHOP National Pancake Day offers diners free pancakes

The restaurants invite diners to leave a donation to the Children's Miracle Network.

BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Customers at IHOP restaurants across the country are enjoying a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes on Tuesday.

IHOP National Pancake Day runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There are IHOP restaurants on Route 224 in Boardman Township and on Route 46 near the Eastwood Mall.

The promotion invites diners to leave a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network. Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley in Boardman is in that network.

Since 2006, IHOP National Pancake Day has raised nearly $20 million for local charities.
