Liberty conference offers support for nursing home residents, families

LIBERTY TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Local displaced nursing home residents and their family members and friends are getting some attention on Tuesday.

Experts are talking about the issue at the Quality Inn on Belmont Avenue In Liberty Township. The event starts at 2 p.m.

Some of the speakers are discussing Relocation Stress Syndrome. That can be an unanticipated reality for displaced residents who are now at a new eldercare facility.

Campus Health Care in Liberty was one of New Beginnings nursing homes to shut down in the last year.
