Columbiana school to raise funds through auction

COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) – Heartland Christian School in Columbiana County is having an auction to raise money for the school.

Every item was donated, and there are things for all ages toys, TVs, pots and pans, even a car. Bob and Chuck Eddy donated a 2007 electric blue dodge Nitro.

The auction has over $60,000 in items.

Doors will open Saturday morning at 8:30, and the live auction will begin at 10. For pictures of items that will be auctioned off tomorrow, you can go to Heartland Christian’s website.

The school will also host a breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Saturday to raise funds for a missions trip that the school is taking.

An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that the event was happening Sunday, when it is in fact happening on Saturday. It also incorrectly stated that the auction would raise funds for the missions trip, when in fact it will raise money for the school in general. The Saturday-morning breakfast will raise money for the missions trip.
