Medical condition causes crash on I-80 in Austintown

The crash happened just east of the Meander Reservoir in the Austintown area

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Another accident happened at 11:20 a.m. Friday on Interstate 80 eastbound, just east of the Meander Reservoir in the Austintown area.

Police on scene believe that the driver had some type of medical issue, which caused the semi truck to go off the road and roll over, spilling some lumber that it was hauling.

The driver, 53-year-old Ronald Goehrig, of Wisconsin, suffered minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
