Key Returnees: Ursuline features three key seniors (Megan Ross, Nikki Malkovits, Janessa Rich) who will provide leadership for a young club. Ross – a two-time All-Northeast Ohio selection – has signed her Letter-Of-Intent to play at Slippery Rock next spring. The Irish also will feature four significant juniors (Lorainne Fitzgerald, Cassandra Hanuschak, Olexa Bunofsky, Bethany Rios) as well as two sophomores (Jordyn Kenneally and Addie Quattro). Keanneally was an All-Northeast Ohio selection as a freshman. Coach Kernan welcomes a freshman class of ten (Caroline Aey, Paige Brockway, Gia Calderone, Destiny Goodnight, Faith Johnson, Katherine Kali, Madison Kelly, Jenna O’Hara, McKenzie Shells, Kelly Wlodarsky).

Outlook: The Irish have played in the district round of the post-season in each of the last ten years. However, Ursuline has only played into the next round (regionals) once in the last six campaigns. This year, coach Kernan and the Irish will look to end their playoff run a little later. In order to do so, the Irish will look to the youth of the team for answers.
