YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Mahoning County Common Pleas visiting judge believes a Lake Milton woman suffers from addiction and that is why she took money from the Jackson-Milton PTA account.
Annette Seeds, 48, appeared in court Wednesday for sentencing in the felony theft case. She was sentenced to three years probation and must attend mental health counseling and submit to a drug and alcohol evaluation. She must also pay restitution to the Jackson-Milton PTA
Seeds was found guilty in January of using the organization’s debit card and charging over $9,000 for personal use. Seeds said she never used the card improperly but lost the receipts.
Seeds was ordered to never volunteer or accept employment that involves children under 18 years old.
