Police: Columbus woman steals elderly friend’s debit card

The Columbus Division of Police is searching for Nikki Sherman, who they say made unauthorized withdrawals from her friend's bank account

Columbus Police are searching for a woman who they say stole her friend's debit card.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Police are looking for a woman who allegedly used an elderly person’s bank account to make withdrawals without authorization.

The Columbus Division of Police say Nikki Sherman was a friend to the victim and would often assist the victim when going to the store.

Police say Sherman stole the victim’s debit card to use at various ATMs, and that there is surveillance video of her making the withdrawals.

Sherman is wanted on warrants for identity fraud, possessing criminal tools, and receiving stolen property.
