Suspect charged in Calcutta Wal-Mart bomb threat

The arrest came after police were called for another incident

CALCUTTA, Ohio (WKBN) – Police in St. Clair Township charged a man in connection to a Feb. 29 bomb threat made at a local Wal-Mart.

According to the Morning Journal, officers responded Tuesday morning to the counseling center in Calcutta for a report of a man threatening an employee, resulting in the arrest of Mark Haase, 57, of East Liverpool, for aggravated menacing. During their interview with Haase, he admitted to calling in the bomb threat at the Wal-Mart on Dresdan Avenue, which resulted in an evacuation.

Haase was charged with inducing panic in connection to the Wal-Mart case.
