Kennedy Catholic won its last state championship in 2001. It was Kennedy Catholic Boys’ Basketball Coach Rick Mancino’s first state championship as a head coach.

Mancino, a Farrell native, was part of the 1985-86 Kennedy basketball team, coached by Joe Votino, that captured the first of the program’s seven state crowns.
