Drug operation busted in Leetonia, over $3K in drugs seized

LEETONIA, Ohio (WKBN) – A drug bust in Columbiana County netted over $3,000 in drugs after police raided a house in Leetonia.

Officers with the Columbiana County Drug Task force served a search warrant Monday at a house on Longs Crossing Road where they found approximately 16.3 grams of heroin and 38.5 grams of marijuana.

Police said they also discovered a marijuana grow operation, cellular phones and digital scales.

The street value of the drugs is estimated at over $3,600.

The names of those arrested have not been released pending the filing of formal charges.
