WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The man indicted on charges of shooting his fiancee up with heroin in front of their baby at her parents home in February appeared in court Wednesday for his arraignment.
David Benner entered a not-guilty plea to charges of heroin possession and child endangerment.
He’s been in the Trumbull County Jail since his arrest following his fiancee’s overdose.
She was revived with naloxone.
In court Wednesday, Benner’s attorney asked a judge to consider pre-trial release since Benner has an addiction problem and needs treatment.
