Court officials: Man charged in Warren shooting didn’t come to arraignment

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man charged with an October shooting in Warren did not appear for his arraignment Wednesday.

Khiry Taylor, 23, faces two counts of felonious assault in connection to the Oct. 18 shooting on Idylwild St. N.E.

Taylor went free on $100,000 bond, meaning that he paid 10 percent of the bond. If he doesn’t show for his next court appearance, a warrant for his arrest may be issued.

Police said Taylor shot Walter James Patterson, 38, inside the home. Patterson suffered gunshot wounds to his legs.

According to police, Taylor walked up to the house, knocked on the door and when Patterson answered, he shot him.
