Ada Irby is charged with four counts of felony drug possession

A 75-year-old woman investigated for drug dealing in Youngstown appeared by video for her arraignment on Friday.


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A 75-year-old woman investigated for drug dealing in Youngstown appeared by video for her arraignment on Friday.

Police say when they searched Ada Irby’s house on Seneca Street Wednesday, they found more than a pound of marijuana and heroin, plus a small amount of cocaine and pills, money and guns. The city’s Vice Unit went to her home because she matched the description on a search warrant of someone selling drugs.

Irby is charged with four felony counts of drug possession. On Friday, a preliminary hearing was set for 10 a.m. April 1 in Youngstown Municipal Court.
