The New Covenant Worship Center Nazarene held its annual Easter egg hunt for kids.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The New Covenant Worship Center Nazarene hosted its annual Easter egg hunt for kids 12 and under.

Children from across the Valley came and participated in the event.

The organizers look forward to the egg hunt each year as a way to connect with the community during the Easter season.

“We look forward to this Easter event, and we actually want to share with these kids the true meaning of Easter,” said volunteer Jeff Gilkerson. “We want them to know that but at the same time, we know that kids love candy.”

The event is an outreach opportunity for the church to show that they are there for the community.
