YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Jury selection began for a Youngstown murder suspect Monday morning.

Keith Sims is facing a murder charge in the death of Shaniece Wells.

Investigators believe Sims was involved in an altercation involving several people at a house on East Boston Avenue in October and that Sims  somehow ended up shooting and killing Wells.

Police don’t believe Wells played a role in the actual altercation.

Police issued a warrant for Sims shortly after the shooting, and he ended up turning himself in to police two days after the incident.
