Police: Bus overturns, injures 8 in Akron

The injured passengers suffered injuries that authorities say aren't life-threatening

AKRON, Ohio (AP) – Authorities say eight people were injured when a bus overturned in Akron.

Police say the bus hit a curb and landed on its side on Sunday afternoon. Authorities are investigating whether a mechanical failure caused the crash.

The injured passengers suffered injuries that authorities say aren’t life-threatening.

Investigators say the Barons Bus Lines bus was taking students back to Ohio University after spring break.
