Clark provides Reserve with the game-winning run against Salem

Western Reserve will meet Columbiana tomorrow.

BERLIN CENTER, Ohio (WKBN) – Western Reserve’s Jacob Clark scored the game-winning run on a fielder’s choice by Justin Ciccone in the bottom of the eighth to post a 4-3 win over Salem this evening.

Jeep DiCioccio began the game on the hill for the Devils. DiCioccio went four innings and allowed 3 runs while striking out 5. Walker Marlowe took over in the fifth and tossed the final four innings as he permitted just one hit and struck out five.

DiCioccio, Clark and Ryan Demsky all had two hits.

Salem’s Logan Wilms pitched the first six innings for the Quakers (7 Ks, 9 Hs, 3 Rs) before being lifted for Garret Dickey in the seventh frame.

The Quakers’ Andrew Pasco belted a double and reached on a walk while scoring a run.

Salem will take on Marlington tomorrow in Alliance. The Dukes posted a 10-0 win on Tuesday. Reserve will play at Columbiana tomorrow at 5 pm.
