Trumbull Co. Engineer’s employee facing disciplinary charges

CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – According to results from an internal investigation at the Trumbull County Engineer’s Office, Kendall Lee Stauffer is facing several disciplinary charges.

Earlier this month, Stauffer was placed on paid administrative leave while the investigation was ongoing. He has worked for the Engineer’s Office for nine years.

Stauffer is now facing disciplinary charges of dishonesty, threatening harm to a supervisor, insubordination and harassment stemming from the investigation.

The investigation report states that Stauffer told a supervisor “when this is all done and said, there will be a pile of people and I will be standing on top of them all.”

According to his disciplinary file, Stauffer was disciplined seven times for past infractions, dating back to March 14, 2012.

A disciplinary hearing has been scheduled for Monday morning at the Engineer’s Office.
