COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) – Several issues in Columbiana County’s primary election, held March 15, came down to the wire.
They were so close, in fact, some of them won’t be officially decided until April 15.
But Tuesday, county election officials released the winning numbers on three issues:
- Leetonia fire: 259 votes for levy, 250 against, passed by 9 votes
- St. Clair road levy: 1079 for the tax levy, 1088 against, didn’t pass
- Washington Twp. road equipment levy: 218 for, 216 against, did pass
County officials still have to recount the St. Clair road levy and the Washington Twp. road equipment levy because their margin is within a certain percentage margin that mandates a recount.
