Membership drive supports WYSU

Those that enjoy listening can become a member of WYSU

WYSU is holding a membership drive in Youngstown, Ohio.


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – WYSU, a public radio station, is holding is bi-annual fundraiser during the month of April.

They’re looking for donations and new members to help fund the station.

The format for the radio includes jazz, classical music, and some shows from NPR.

Those that enjoy listening can become a member of WYSU.

“We are listener supported, and we get very little money from the state and YSU. We really have to generate our own funds,” said Tricia Perry, funding officer.

The fundraiser runs through April 15th, but online donations are accepted anytime at WYSU.org.
