YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man accused of killing an 87-year-old man who neighbors identified as his great-grandfather has been indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury on an aggravated murder charge.

Julius Williams, 28, is accused of killing William Cox, Jr. Investigators said Cox was found in his Harvard Street home and appeared to be beaten by a hammer. He died of blunt force trauma to the head and chest, according to Mahoning County Coroner Dr. David Kennedy.

Williams in being held in Mahoning County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
