Buckeyes to honor Will Smith with helmet decal during spring game

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Ohio State University will honor former Buckeye and All-American Will Smith with decals on players’ helmets and a moment of silence during the spring game.

OSU Athletic Director Gene Smith made the announcement Tuesday morning.

Smith was shot and killed after a traffic crash in New Orleans Saturday night.

The Ohio State Spring Game is scheduled for 1:30pm Saturday.
