WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Warren man accused of coming to a Stephens Avenue home with a knife was indicted on felony aggravated burglary and felonious assault charges.
The alleged victim told police that Carl Binion walked through his opened front door carrying a knife and yelling about “bad drugs” that he received from someone. He said Binion then pointed a knife at his throat, according to a police report.
Police said the victim struck Binion in the head with a baseball bat during the incident. Binion then reportedly dropped the knife and left, leaving behind the shoes he was wearing, which were taken into evidence.
At the time of his arrest on March 10, Binion admitted to going to the home to confront the man but denied entering or being in possession of a knife.
