Frank Starkey charged with drug trafficking, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown Police charged a man with drug trafficking during an investigation on Hammaker Street Monday afternoon.

Officers spoke with three women arguing in a parking lot. During the argument, one person accused Frank Starkey, III of selling marijuana in the area.

Starkey, who in the parking lot, tried to walk way from officers after the allegations were made but later admitted to having marijuana in his pocket, according to a police report. Police said Starkey had six bags of marijuana in his pocket. A jar of marijuana, scale and 20 Tramadol pills were also found in the trunk of a vehicle Starkey was driving, police said.

Starkey was arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs, possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Mahoning County Jail, where he was being held on Tuesday.
