Local divas to perform in Youngstown, benefit special needs children

Youngstown's DeYor Performing Arts Center will present a "Valley of the Divas" show on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Creative Bridge Coalition is presenting a fundraising concert, “Valley of the Divas,” Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.

The concert will benefit the Creative Bridge Coalition, which brings music into the lives of special needs children. The local concert features performers who all have ties to the Valley.

Youngstown’s own Maureen McGovern will headline the event. Also performing will be Sarah Turner, Leanne Binder, Sarah Jones, Maureen Collins and Sugar Joans, a finalist on the 2014 season of The Voice.

The concert will take place at the Ford Family Hall in the DeYor Performing Arts Center, 260 West Federal Street, Youngstown, OH 44503.

Tickets are priced at $45, $55 and $75 with only 500 seats available. Family and friends have the opportunity for pre-sale tickets, but you must have the pre-sale code. To purchase tickets, either call the box office at 330-744-0264 or go to their website.
