YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – People in the valley are starting to see their allergies kick in as the weather changes drastically.
Family doctor Mike Sevilla said the symptoms are watery eyes, runny nose or a cough. The best thing for people with allergies to do is find out what triggers their allergies. Finding the right trigger can help them find the right kind of medication to control the symptoms and give a little bit of comfort.
“Because it’s usually the first time when they get outside and sometimes pollen counts are a little bit more elevated in the morning than in the afternoon,” Dr. Sevilla said.
Sevilla also said pills, nasal sprays or a Neti Pot are good cures to allergies.
