COOLSPRING TWP., Pa. (WKBN) – The medical examiner in Pittsburgh confirmed the cause of death for 1-year-old Pheylin Cline in an autopsy.

The little girl died in an accidental drowning in Coolspring Township, Mercer County on Wednesday afternoon.

She was visiting relatives at the time and somehow got into a neighbor’s backyard pool across the street, which is protected by fences and two locking gates.

Emergency crews took the victim to Grove City Medical Center and then to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she eventually passed away, according to a release from the Pennsylvania State Police.
