CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – An open house will be held Sunday for a house that is being sold for $2.325 million.

The house is located at 8288 Maplevale Drive in Canfield.

If the house sells for the asking price, it will be the highest price ever paid for a house in Mahoning County.

A house in Scarsdale, outside of New York City, has six bedrooms, eight baths and is 10,000 square feet. The price is $9.1 million.

The home in Canfield has five bedrooms, nine baths and is almost 11,000 square feet.

Hollie Ritchie, a realtor, with Keller Williams Chervenic Realty told some of the features of the house to FirstNews.

“It starts when you drive down the driveway,” Ritchie said. “The room that I love best is right when you walk in; there’s so much charm and character. To the left is the formal dining room. On the right is the living room. The cool part is the in-law suite in its separate building.”

Ritchie said the home is incredible with workmanship never seen in this area. The question is if anyone will spend $2.325 million on the home.

The open house will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
