WASHINGTONVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – A construction project in Washingtonville is forcing neighbors there to boil their water before they drink it.

Culverts are being replaced along Route 14, and the main water line needs to be lowered, which could impact quality.

The advisory began Monday morning at 7 a.m. and will continue for two to three days as the work is being done.

Customers should bring tap water to a boil and continue boiling for one minute and then let let it cool before drinking.
