WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – On Monday, officers were dispatched to a Warren home for an apparent burglary.
According to the police report, the victim had been in the hospital from April 7 through April 25. During this time, an unknown person or persons broke into her residence and stole around $43,000 in jewelry.
The report stated that entry was made by force through a west side, first floor window. There was evidence of a person rifling through property, such as unpacked boxes and used canned goods. There was also feces in the toilet and hygiene items missing.
Officers determined that along with the burglary and theft, the suspects were also squatting in the residence.
