WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Warren City Schools teacher previously convicted of drug charges through Summit County appeared in court Thursday for an arraignment on separate drug-related charges.
Tracy Gogel, 47, of Cuyahoga Falls, pleaded not guilty to two counts of deception to obtain a dangerous drug.
According to an indictment, Gogel had a pre-printed, blank prescription pad used for writing a prescription for a dangerous drug. She was previously placed on “home assignment” from her teaching job last year after she was charged with drug possession in Summit County in August of 2015.
Gogel told the judge she is still employed at Warren City Schools, where she was working as a home economic teacher.
A judge set Gogel’s bond at $5,000. She is due back in court on Monday.
