EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) – People were out enjoying the great weather at Thompson Park in East Liverpool during the 2nd annual Walk for Autism Speaks.
There were activities for the whole family, including various forms of entertainment, face painting and games.
Last year, the event raised $5,014.99, and they are hoping to break that this year. Various donors also participated in the event. All proceeds from the event go to the Cleveland chapter of Autism Speaks.
Autism Speaks is an autism advocacy organization in the United States that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments and the public.
