Niles Police Department’s phone lines restored

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Phone lines at the Niles Safety Complex have been restored after an outage on Monday afternoon.

The police department said the building may have been struck by lightning during Sunday night’s storm, leading to issues with the phone lines. Technicians were called to the station to fix the problem.

Niles residents were asked to call 911 prior to the restoration of the phone lines.
