NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WKBN) – Western Reserve topped Jackson-Milton 7-4 Tuesday in a pivotal ITCL Blue Tier matchup.
Wyatt Larimer (3-0) picked up the victory on the mound for the Blue Devils, tossing five innings, with five strikeout, while allowing just two runs.
Eric Ostrowski (5-1) suffered the loss, pitching five innings, allowing four earned runs on seven hits with three strikeouts.
Dom Velazquez finished with two hits and two RBI’s in the win, while Walker Marlowe tallied three hits and scored three runs. Jeep DiCioccio, Logan Matas, and Jacob Clark also drove in runs for Western Reserve.
Jackson-Milton’s Noah Laster went 2-3 with an RBI, while Eric Ostrowski added a pair of hits with an RBI and a run scored in the setback.
Western Reserve improves to 16-1 overall (8-1 ITCL Blue), while Jackson-Milton drops to 13-5 overall (8-1 ITCL Blue).
The Blue Devils and Blue Jays meet again on Wednesday with the ITCL Blue tier championship on the line.
