LEAVITTSBURG, Ohio (WKBN) – You may encounter stopped traffic if you drive on the Routes 5 and 82 Warren Bypass near Leavittsburg on Tuesday.

ODOT says until 7 p.m., the contractor on the West Market Street bridge replacement project will stop traffic on the freeway about every 30 minutes, for no more than 10 minutes at a time. The bridge is closed, and workers are removing the current bridge beams.

The bridge itself is closed until mid-October. The work is part of a $4.3 million project to replace three bridges that span the bypass.
