VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) – An OVI checkpoint is being held in Vienna Wednesday night.

The checkpoint will be held from 6 to 10 p.m on Youngstown Kingsville Road, according to Warren Police Officer Ben Harrell.

The checkpoint is being held by the Trumbull County OVI  Task Force to intercept intoxicated drivers and prevent drunk driving-related accidents. The Task Force says checkpoints are not designed to punish drivers but instead to educate the public about the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
