Police found a gun on the suspect

Donni Feagin was arrested on drug possession and having weapons under disability in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man is in the Mahoning County Jail after he was arrested following an incident at the Dollar General Store on McGuffey Road.

According to a police report, Donni Feagin, 32, entered the store about 2 p.m. Wednesday and spent some time shopping. He bought several snacks and then continued to stay in the store. He then returned all the items for a refund and continued shopping.

Feagin then went back up to the counter and purchased a prepaid credit card and resumed shopping, according to the report.

A customer, who witnessed Feagin acting suspicious, left the store and flagged down a Youngstown police officer and told him what she saw.

The officer entered the store and approached Feagin, discovering a weapon in the front pocket of Feagin’s sweatpants. A baggie of marijuana was also recovered, according to the report.

Feagin was placed under arrest for drug possession and having a weapon under disability, since he had a prior drug conviction and a reckless homicide conviction.
