YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The executive director of Youngstown’s Inspiring Minds organization, who was placed on leave after his arrest in April, has been indicted on multiple charges.
Timothy Frost faces trafficking in marijuana, failure to comply with the order of a police officer and obstruction official business charges.
Police say Frost was argumentative and refused to obey commands when officers questioned him after a short vehicle pursuit, which led to a crash on E. Indianola Avenue. Police said a bag of marijuana was found in Frost’s pocket, and marijuana, a grinder and $310 in cash were found in the vehicle he was driving.
Officers were investigating a report of shots fired from a white Cadillac Escalde on E. Evergreen Avenue, and police said the vehicle Frost was driving matched the vehicle reported to officers.
The Inspiring Minds organization offers after-school and summer enrichment programs to under-served kids in the city.
