Jalissa Feliciano arrested for identity fraud.

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – A New York woman is in the Trumbull County Jail after she posed as someone else to open up a new cell phone account.

Police arrested Jalissa Feliciano, 21, from Bronx, New York Tuesday afternoon.

According to our print partner the Tribune Chronicle,  Feliciano asked the clerk to set up an account in the name of a Howland woman the employee happened to know.

Police say she used a forged I.D. to match the credit card.

Feliciano is being charged with felony identity fraud and three misdemeanors, including credit misuse.

Feliciano is expected in Niles Municipal Court next week. She is being held on $7,500 bond.
