Multiple vehicles collide near Royal Oaks in Youngstown

Several cars were heavily damaged and were towed from the area

Four cars collided on Oak Street in Youngstown.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Crews were sent to clean up the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash involving at six cars by the Royal Oaks Bar and Grill on Friday afternoon.

A few of the cars, which collided near the intersection of Oak Street and the U.S. 422 exit in Youngstown, were heavily damaged. The cars were being towed from the scene just before 4:30 p.m. Friday.

The on-ramp to U.S. 422 is closed at this time, but it is expected to be open by 5:45 p.m. Friday.

Injuries are unknown at this time, but four people were taken away in an ambulance.

Police released no other details on the crash.
