Police: Quick Stop Food Store in Warren robbed by man with knife

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren Police are investigating a robbery of the Quick Stop Food Store on North Road.

The robbery was reported at 10:08 p.m. Sunday by a store clerk, who told police a man wearing all black entered the store with a knife. The clerk said the man demanded money from the cash register and then ran from the store. The clerk was unsure of how much money was taken.

Police said customers of other businesses in the plaza did not see or hear anything, and officers did not find a person matching a description of the robber.

The robber was described as a “chubby” black man, approximately 5’7″ tall.

Police said surveillance video of the store is being reviewed.
