CENTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WKBN) – Injuries were reported after a car smashed into a duplex in western Pennsylvania.

According to the CBS affiliate, KDKA in Pittsburgh, one person was injured when a car slammed into a house in Butler County Monday morning.

According to officials at the scene, the accident happened in the 100 block of Arthur Drive in Center Township shortly after 5 a.m.

Initial reports indicate the vehicle was traveling along Route 308, went off the road, down the hillside and hit the house.

The vehicle came to rest on its roof and the driver was transported to a local hospital.

No one inside the home was injured.
